The New Balance Girls on the Run 5K is an event for the entire family! This 5K is noncompetitive and perfect for all runners, joggers, and walkers. Come out and support the girls as they cross the finish line in celebration of all that they have accomplished.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Girls on the Run of Charlotte so that all girls that want to participate in our program can have the opportunity.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-up will be available at Run For Your Life on Thursday, May 7th and Friday, May 8th from 10:00 - 7:00.

Course Map & Information
The 5k route start & finish is at Independence Park in historic Elizabeth Neighborhood.
Mile 1:
- 5k starts at Independence Park
- Continues across Hawthorne staying on Park Road around the park
- Turn right on Clement Avenue
- Turn right on E. 7th Street
- Turn right on Caswell Road
Mile 2:
- Turn left on E. 5th Street
- Turn right on Osborne Avenue
- Turn left on Kenmore Avenue
- Turn right on N. Laurel Avenue
- Turn left on Vail Avenue
- Turn left on N. Dotger Avenue
- Turn right on Deacon
Mile 3:
- Turn left on Emerson
- Turn left on E. 5th Street
- Continue straight across Caswell & Hawthorne
- Turn Right on Park Rd to finish at Independence Park
