Jessica Otto, Program Director, joined Girls on the Run of Charlotte in the spring of 2008.  Jessica grew up in Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University (WMU) with a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management and Leadership.  While attending WMU she competed as a Division I student athlete in Cross Country, Indoor & Outdoor Track.  Her Senior year she was named Captain by her coaching staff for Cross Country and voted Captain by her teammates for Indoor & Outdoor track. 

Jessica lives in Denver, NC with her wonderful husband Thad and their precious dog, Lacey. 

Amanda Jeffcoat Cartner

Additional Information:

Amanda Jeffcoat Cartner, Program Coordinator, joined Girls on the Run of Charlotte in February 2010.  Amanda grew up in Columbia, SC and moved to Charlotte after living in Florida, California, and North Dakota. She earned a bachelor's degree in Public Affairs from Columbia College and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University.  She has five years experience working in nonprofit management.

Amanda enjoys running, walking, and spending time with her husband Randall and two cats, Yuri and Sasha.
